This blog will be written for Junior High Students who I currently teach, helping them explore and appreciate American Musicians starting with Louis Armstrong.  “Pops”  is to many the beginning of American Popular Music and thus the perfect starting point. Once the school year begins, I plan on adding questions and extra credit assignments for my students.
